CMU Epidemic Prevention Frontline: Special Report IX-Physical Education Office Strengthen the Control of the Ventilation and Flow Line of Indoor Sports Venue

To avoid cluster spreading, CMU has been strengthened the control of the ventilation and traffic flow line management for the indoor sports venue according the epidemic prevention standard. During the epidemic prevention period, to use the sports venues (including the ball courts, gymnasium, dance room, table tennis room, and golf classroom), one shall file an application and be approved before using according to the “Regulations for Epidemic Prevention for Group Activities.”
The ventilation condition of all of the indoor sports venues was monitored by the Office of Environmental Safety and Health and been improved to meet the epidemic prevention standard by the government. Many venues are equipped with ventilators, and the number of people entering the venues limited to keep the social distance. Moreover, the Physical Education Office regularly disinfect the indoor sports equipment, floors, and the air conditioner outlets. Besides, disinfection alcohol is provided in the entrance of each venue to strengthen the prevention effects.
