31 Taiwanese universities hit top Asia-Pacific Universities list - CMU ranks 6th in Taiwan, and 1st in Private School

Times Higher Education Announced the latest Asia-Pacific Universities list, 31 Taiwanese universities were on the list. Taiwan's National Taiwan University slipped four spots on the list to 37th place this year. China Media University ranked 88 this year, which is 6th place in Taiwan, and first in private schools.

CMU’s sister school- Asia University ranked 15th in Taiwan, and 5th in private schools. It also took first place in non-medical field.

Chancellor Wen-Hwa Lee mentioned that Asia-Pacific is an area filled with academic energy. And it is important for excellent universities to not only focus on research performance, but also build up the characteristics of its own. He indicated that CMU has been in line with international academic world under the lead of Chairman Chang-Hai Tsai. In recent years, CMU has successfully held the 2017 THE Asia -Pacific Research Excellence Summit and the 13th QS-APPLE Higher Education Conference and Exhibition. CMU has invited well-known scholars all over the world to share their research experience, and sought for further cooperation. Currently, CMU has more than 146 partner institutions over the world.
