Academic Collaboration with Masaryk University

Prof. Jan Žaloudík, Dean of College of Medicine of Masaryk University came on May 5th, 2009 with Prof. Eva Táborská, and Prof. Miroslava Skovajsova of Charles University and signed the MOU with our university making a mutual commitment to promote the academic exchange and collaboration.
Masaryk University, located in Brno, the second-largest city in the Czech Republic was founded in 1919. At present it has nine faculties, covering a spectrum of disciplines and research areas. Recognized as the second-largest higher education institution, Masaryk University currently enrolls more than 30000 students including foreign students.
Charles University is the oldest university in Eastern Europe, established in 1346. Besides traditional disciplines, Charles University also has a College of Medicine, spreading over five campuses. College of Medicine has been highly regarded in facility, teaching faculties, and research.
Our university President, Professor Jong-Tsun Huang, firstly introduced the delegation to our professors, followed by a discussion on exchange programs for students and faculties. He then signed the MOU with Prof. Jan Žaloudík. After the forum ended, Wu-Chung Shen, our Dean of College of Medicine took the visitors around Wuquan Buildings which has made a good impression on the delegation.
