Prof. Hua Wang, President of Hubei University of Chinese Medicine, Visited China Medical University

Hubei University of Chinese Medicine (HUCM) is located in Wuhan City, Hubei Province. The college, founded in 1958, is the only one Advanced Medical College of Chinese Medicine, and it has been upgraded to university status in 2004. Furthermore, HUCM is also the only one Advanced Professional School specializing in Pharmacy and Medical Laboratory in China.

Professor Shung-Te Kao, Dean of College of Chinese Medicine, visited HUCM in 2008 to attend the 50th annual cerebration. His trip started the cooperation between the two universities.

President Professor Hua Wang and Chair of International Affairs Office Miss Ping Fu of HUCM visited China Medical University to sign the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with professors from School of Pharmacy of CMU on April 23rd 2010. President Hua Wang of HUCM expressed his willingness to learn experience from CMU for HUCM's development of PhD's degree on clinical Chinese Medicine. President Jong-Tsun Huang of CMU promised that two research centers for Chinese Medicine and Stroke Cancer  would be set up in the near future; thus, the two universities can accelerate the exchange program of graduate students and also co-publish scientific papers.
