Signing a New Agreement of Exchange with California State University, Long Beach

China Medical University (CMU) and California State University, Long Beach (CSULB) had signed a Memorandum of Understanding between the two colleges in the previous year. Since then, CSULB professors and students have been visiting CMU to join summer exchange program for two years. This year, the President of China Medical University Prof. Jong-Tsun Huang led a delegation from CMU to sign a new Agreement for an Exchange Program with California State University, Long Beach President Dr. Donald J. Para on December 21st. With this new agreement initiated, CSULB is offering CMU students the chance to study for one semester or a whole year as exchange students. Both universities are hoping to have further exchange and cooperation in the near future.

California State University, Long Beach is the second largest campus of the 23 school California State University system and one of the largest universities in the state of California by enrollment, its student body numbering 36,000. It is also being named the 5th most diverse university in the West by U.S. News & World Report. CSULB has been recognized repeatedly as one of "America's Best Value Colleges" by the Princeton Review.
