Incoming International Exchange Student Program

Our Objective In order to encourage a cross-culture interaction and mutual sharing of viewpoints, we sincerely welcome international students to study in China Medical University. It provides a unique opportunity for international students to get a closer look and have first-hand experience about Taiwanese culture and society.

  9. Introduction to Safety and Health
  10. Taiwan’s Health Insurance
  11. Infectious Diseases in Taiwan
  12. Tai Chi

(CMU reserves the right to modify the courses.)


Credits Participants who successfully complete the program’s courses will receive a course certificate.

More Information CMU provides financial assistance for the enrolled International students in the duration of the program.
  1. Part of the accommodation expenses.
  2. School Field trip will be arranged and is free of charge.
Tuition and Other Expenses Students do not have to pay for tuition. However, students must pay for part of the accommodation fees, airfare, visa fee, health insurance and personal expenses (meals, transportation…etc.), which may vary greatly from student to student.

    By Air ---There are six domestic airlines providing services between major cities such as Taipei, Taichung, Tainan, Kaohsiung and Hualien.
    By Taiwan High Speed Rail (THSR)---If you would like to save time, THSR is a good choice.
    By Train--- The railway network along the coastline is another economic option for traveling around Taiwan.
    By Highway Bus ---Long distance highway bus services provided by private transportation companies are very popular. They have an extensive network and a frequent service schedule.
    By Metro/Subway ---In Taipei and Kaohsiung, the metro system (MRT) provides convenient and comfortable transportation. Metro fares range from NTD20-60(USD0.6-1.8).
    By Bus & Taxi ---Each major city has its own bus system. Taxi fares start at NTD 70 (USD 2.1) and increase with the time and distance traveled.
    By Motorcycle/Scooter & Bicycle ---Motorcycles and scooters are very popular means of transportation in Taiwan.
